About

Trust, understanding, and a good connection between us are the foundation for healing and meaningful growth. Here’s a bit about me and my journey, and how I support clients in finding calm, clarity, balance and confidence.

About Me

Hi, I’m Alex Arnold (she/her), and I help highly sensitive and introspective people find calm, clarity, balance, and confidence in their lives. I know what it’s like to feel like you’re “not enough” or to spend much of your time in overwhelm. Through navigating major life transitions — moving to the U.S. in my twenties, a mid-life career change, starting a business, learning about the HSP trait later in life, divorce, and raising a child who is now a teenager — I’ve learned how essential it is to build emotional resilience, trust yourself, prioritize self-care, and embrace your sensitivity as a strength rather than a flaw.

As a Highly Sensitive Person, working with horses has been truly life-changing for me. Horses taught me that strength, leadership, collaboration, and communication aren’t about being loud or fearless — they’re about presence, awareness, curiosity, and authenticity. This experience, along with practices such as Transcendental Meditation, Reiki and strengths-based approaches like positive psychology, has shaped how I guide clients: creating a supportive space to reconnect with your body and energy, welcome all emotions, and learn to coach yourself through life’s challenges.

I hold an M.S. in Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology and an M.S. in Human Relations and Organization Development. I’m an ICF-accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC), a member of the Climate Coaching Alliance, a graduate of the Climate Change Coaches training program, and a Climate Café facilitator with the Climate Psychology Alliance. I have completed the Second Degree of the Usui System of Reiki Healing at Central Vermont Reiki and I am currently pursuing PATH International certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. My work blends Reiki, life coaching, climate resilience support, and equine-assisted learning to help sensitive clients manage stress and find balance, clarity and confidence — at their own pace.

Outside of my practice, I love biking, kayaking, walking, cross-country skiing, reading, painting, snuggling with my dog, and soaking in Vermont's natural beauty.
